Expected Learning Outcomes:  Understanding current owner expectations and defining serviceability for the design and construction of concrete floors.  Specific current problems and solutions in structural slabs and slabs on ground.  Applied loading, support systems, mix designs, reinforcing, surface tolerances, finishes, curing and maintenance will be specifically addressed in reconciling contemporary design practices with actual means, methods and materials in the field.
