Expected Learning Outcomes:  Attendees of this session will gain perspective on innovative approaches and techniques being employed in several of Virginia’s most multimodal progressive localities.  The session will highlight innovative bicycle, pedestrian, transit, and vehicular treatment techniques as well as lessons learned in applying these techniques in creating truly multimodal environments.

Resume: David has a wealth of experience in multimodal transportation planning and engineering and transit-oriented development.  He has led multimodal planning and engineering projects throughout the Washington, D.C. region and other U.S. cities. Much of the focus of his recent project work has been on preparing plans and studies focused on the movement of people, by all modes of transportation.
